Description

It is used to plow the field. It is a farm tool for loosening the soil before sowing seed or planting. Plows were traditionally drawn by carabao. It may have a wooden, iron or steel frame, with a blade attached to cut and loosen the soil. It has been fundamental to farming to most of history, use of the traditional plow has decreased in some areas threatened by soil damage and erosion. Plows initially powered by humans, but the use of farm animals was considerably more efficient.
